The modalities and salient features of the united wallet are enumerated as under:
1. Registration Process: Customer (both UBI / non UBI customers) to insert their personal details like name, DOB, address, e-mail id, mobile number and set their own desired password ( minimum 6 character ) and get themselves registered by successfully validation through an OTP ( sent in the given mobile number )
2. Funds In:
A. UBI customers: Customers can load money either by using debit card or net banking credentials of any of their existing operative accounts.
B. Non-UBI customers: Customer can load money from their non UBI Bank account by using debit card or net banking services.
C. United Fund Transfer (UFT) : After the details like mobile number , first two characters of the name , verification code in “ receive UFT “ ,customer may receive the fund in wallet.
D. Ask Money: By using this service, customer may sends request for money to any UBI wallet customer.
3. Funds Out: This menu is for transferring fund from wallet account to other united wallet / united bank account (through United Fund Transfer). One more service “IMPS” is also enabled for customers to send the money to any Bank’s account on 24×7 basis.
4. Recharge: By availing this service, customer may recharge his / her prepaid mobile number as well as DTH service.
5. Bill Payment: By using this option, customer may make online payment of post -paid mobile bill, insurance premium, utility payments like electricity bill, landline bill, gas bill etc.
6. Generate: By clicking on this menu, the following pop down functions will be displayed.
A. Statement: Customer can get their wallet statement by selecting the statement period / number of transactions.
B. Set PIN: Customer can set their prepaid card PIN online.
C. Physical Card: By invoking this menu, customer can send request to apply for physical RuPay prepaid card linked with their wallet account.
D. Card Block / Unblock : By using this option , customer can block / unblock their united wallet account as well as prepaid card through wallet application.
7. Services : Bank has enabled this menu only for UBI customer, by which customer can view the details of all their operative accounts and can enhance the limit of wallet as well as card from Rs.10,000 to Rs. 1,00,000 .
8. Notifications: Message about any type of offers / up- gradation / awareness populates / publishes under this section and sends to customer time to time.
